In, and out. Push, and pull. What forces compel you, without you even realizing? The moon’s relationship with the tides is cyclical, rhythmic. Think about this ebb and flow; what are the cycles you find yourself in, or the currents that wash over you? Amongst these rising waves are the most colorful of life: corals, fish, otters, urchins. Their home in constant motion; what do you find beneath this ever-changing surface?

Submission Criteria:

• Submissions must somehow connect to this semester’s theme, Tidal: Ebb & Flow.
• Submissions are open to all Colleges of the Fenway students, faculty, and staff.
• Individuals may submit up to 5 submissions in each category: writing and visual arts.
• Limit individual prose pieces to 5 pages. Acceptable files are PDFs, Word documents, or Google Docs.
• Visual art submissions must be the highest possible resolution.
• Please fill out our application form separately for each submission.

All submissions are reviewed anonymously and on a rolling basis.
Submissions for the Fall 2026 issue of the magazine close November 6.
