Push, and pull. What forces compel you, without you even realizing? The moon\u2019s relationship with the tides is cyclical, rhythmic. Think about this ebb and flow; what are the cycles you find yourself in, or the currents that wash over you? Amongst these rising waves are the most colorful of life: corals, fish, otters, urchins. Their home in constant motion; what do you find beneath this ever-changing surface?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-secondary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\" style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.591), 1.2rem);\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfmV01cfi-NTUYYyg8x1de6fMHvCHn5-PxQtvmJGxEHKkEUaA\/viewform\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfmV01cfi-NTUYYyg8x1de6fMHvCHn5-PxQtvmJGxEHKkEUaA\/viewform\">Click here to submit! <\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Submission Criteria: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submissions must somehow connect to this semester&#8217;s theme, <em>Tidal: Ebb &amp; Flow.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submissions are open to all Colleges of the Fenway students, faculty, and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals may submit up to 5 submissions in each category: writing and visual arts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limit individual prose pieces to 5 pages. Acceptable files are PDFs, Word documents, or Google Docs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual art submissions must be the highest possible resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please fill out our application form separately for each submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All submissions are reviewed anonymously and on a rolling basis. <br><strong>Submissions for the Fall 2026 issue of the magazine close November 6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your piece(s) are selected, you will receive an email from <a href=\"mailto:sidelines@simmons.edu\">sidelines@simmons.edu<\/a>.
